As previous reports, the Western Crusaders are entering an additional team into the 2017 Gridiron Victoria men’s competition and, have now agreed terms with the new leader of the Crusaders second team.

“Its with great pleasure that I announce Bruce Parke will lead CRU-TWO this year, working closely with the committee and existing coaching staff” Western Crusaders President, Peter Steve commented.

Bruce Parke, a founder of the Crusaders, has a great coaching pedigree with three Div I championships, a proud member of the “Team of the Decade 1999-2009”, a Life Member and has been apart of various Victorian state campaigns.

Bruce commented, “I am thrilled to be back helping nurture the CRU’s future, moulding the football minds. The prime objective of the CRU-TWO team is to provide a bridge and development opportunity for our players to give them valuable game time, crucial to their development as player and, importantly, play good football and have fun!” The Club is looking for coaches, players and support staff to help establish this team:
